MONA’S ROOM, august 2020

This room takes place in the house of Merel and Michiel. This couple wanted to give their firstborn a lovely room to sleep in but couldn’t find any wallpaper that matched their style. When they asked me to create a unique composition and paint it on the walls of Mona’s room, I couldn’t wait to start this project. Babies are fascinated by bright and striking forms and colours. So I decided to work on that as the starting point. The result is a composition, created with red as the main color, which is the first colour a baby can see.
