(NL) De Keuze om samen te werken met alumni, Leda Devoldere & Joanna Reuse voor de scenografie is welbewust geweest. Devoldere en Reuse leggen een voorliefde voor een verrassende combinatie van materialen en kleuren aan de dag in hun eigen ontwerppraktijk. In het museum is heel bewust omgegaan met de ruimte. Er wordt gespeeld met de obstakels van de ruimte. Ze vormen het kader waarin levendige composities en collageachtige opstelling opgebouwd zijn. Curator: Els Huygelen

(EN) The decision to work with alumnae Leda Devoldere and Joanna Reuse was an intentional one. They have a predeliction for surprising combinations of materials and colour in their own design practice. At the Design museum Gent, space was dealt with very consciously. Obstacles in the space are played with, forming the framework in which vivacious combinations and collage-like presentations are constructed. In the exhibition, their specific method of working is expressed in the exhibition.
